Fleurieu Wellbeing is a leading provider of community-based mental health services in Australia. Specialising in supporting individuals living with mental illness or psychosocial disability, they are dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions. As a registered NDIS provider, Fleurieu Wellbeing operates under strict regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and security are at the forefront of their operations.
In their quest to enhance operational efficiency and meet compliance obligations, Fleurieu Wellbeing partnered with Annature, an Australian-made eSigning platform. Since adopting Annature, they've seen significant improvements in their processes.
"Our experience with Annature's e-signing platform has been really good," says Kim, the founder of Fleurieu Wellbeing. "It's been incredibly helpful for the work that we do. One of the reasons we chose Annature is because we need to meet compliance. We have to have our service agreements and other documentation in place to meet regulations before we see clients. Annature has been a really effective way of doing that."
Before using Annature, the only option for Fleurieu Wellbeing was to provide contracts and documents in person, which was time-consuming and inefficient. This method was not practical, especially when timely onboarding of clients is crucial in mental health services.
"If we weren't using Annature, we'd have to provide contracts in person, and that would be a really poor use of productivity," Kim explains. "Annature is very valuable from a productivity perspective internally. It allows us to onboard clients in the quickest, easiest way while maintaining compliance, which is so important in our field."
Fleurieu Wellbeing uses Annature not only for client-facing systems but also internally for contractor agreements. This ensures that all processes are up and running swiftly once a client or contractor is onboarded.
While they have specific regulated documents under the NDIS and health sector, which require particular formats and designs, Annature's platform allows them to upload and manage their own documents seamlessly.
"We have our own documents because they're regulated under the NDIS," Kim notes. "Even though we don't use standard templates, being able to upload our own documents and have them signed electronically has been a huge benefit."
Compliance, privacy, and security are paramount for Fleurieu Wellbeing. Knowing that Annature stores all data securely within Australia, and meets all necessary accreditations, provides them with peace of mind.
"Compliance matters around privacy and security are already embedded in Annature, which is probably our biggest concern if it wasn't," Kim says. "Having that accreditation is wonderful. We can be confident that we're meeting our legal obligations, and our clients' information is protected."
Additionally, the ability to send documents from their own domain enhances professionalism and trust in their communications.
"When documents go to our clients or contractors, they come from Fleurieu Wellbeing," Kim mentions. "This builds trust and reduces confusion, as clients immediately recognise our emails. It's great that Annature supports this feature."
Overall, the shift to Annature has been a positive move for Fleurieu Wellbeing.
"For the purposes we use it, Annature is doing the job, doing it well, and doing it in a timely fashion," Kim summarises. "It's an essential tool that helps us deliver our services quickly and effectively, which is really important in mental health."
