Encryption

Your personal data and the data of your end users are stored behind a firewall and authenticated against the protocols that we have implemented every time a request for your data is made. All communications use TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption. Your data and documents are stored and encrypted at rest using AES 256-bit encryption.

Additionally, documents are encrypted with a unique key. Each key is encrypted with a regularly rotated master key. This means that in the unlikely event that someone were to bypass the physical security measures and access a hard-drive, they wouldn't be able to decrypt your data without knowing the master key.

  • Documents are encrypted using a unique key, and that unique key is encrypted using a master key that is regularly rotated
  • For envelopes in transit waiting to be signed, communications are encrypted using TLS
  • Personal data and the data of your end users are encrypted at rest using AES 256-bit encryption
  • HSTS is enabled (HTTP Strict Transport Security)
